About Erin

Unearth your creativity! Kids, adults alike - we can nurture this attraction to art at any age - it's never too late to have a go! Art allows one to create, enjoy & relax in life physically, emotionally & intellectually. DIGG ART specializes in art lessons, workshops and art events. We do Homeschooling art lessons and after-school "crafternoon's" and art programs for kids from Prep to Grade 12. This curriculum is designed to expose them to different media enabling our kids to push their boundaries and learn to experiment in a safe and fun environment. DIGG ART is run by Erin Zordan, a practicing artist, qualified in Graphic Communication (CATC and Cert IV in Training and Assessment). Erin has curated and installed art exhibitions, taught art classes and workshops within primary schools, OSHC's, childcare centers, church groups and in regional schools within Queensland. Erin loves all types of arts and crafts and has experience in a range of different art making practices, such as: painting, printing, sculpture, drawing, collage, textiles and clay.

Engaged by parent to teach art to both Skylar and Zac.
As siblings they are creative and capable in their own right and show great resilience - despite being challenged in new methodologies, new materials and techniques. Both are a delight to work with and are very bright and talented.

Rhiannon has a great eye to distinguish shape and form and fosters a natural talent, which I'm sure over time with my lessons will continue to develop her artistic strengths and also the foundational skills of art.

The free first lesson with Erin allows you to get to know the tutor and discuss your needs and expectations.

Details

$50/hour is the standard business hour rate, time allocation afterhours and weekends increases to $55/hour. Require minimum 5 hours notice for cancellations (i.e. you have a lesson booked for 4pm, please advise of non-attendance by 11am that same day), and happy to provide a make-up lesson when there has been a missed lesson due to an emergency or minimum notice is provided. A comprehensive art materials list is provided via email 1-2 weeks prior to each art project/lesson and if you have difficulty sourcing here in Australia, I can source the materials for you and ship them to your address (with added postage).
