About Chloe
Hi! My name is Chloë Grogan. I am a sophomore in High School. I have taken Honors English classes for 3 years now, and tutoring English for 2 years. As a tutor, I am understanding, patient and optimistic. I have ADHD so I empathize well with people with learning disabilities. I’m especially helpful for people that lack motivation and organization. Over the years, I’ve learned to use my ADHD as a motivator rather than letting it hold me back. It also allows me to be very helpful with schedule planning and staying motivated and organized. Personally, outside of writing I enjoy reading, studying, painting, graphic design, drumming, sewing and baking. I am currently learning Spanish, Korean, Mandarin and French, and I can also help with any of these languages a bit as well, if you are interested!

I can tutor K-9th grade level writers smoothly. I work extremely well with people with ADHD and autism. I also work well with non-native speakers. I will help you with grammar and revising. I’ll help make English/writing fun for you and we will improve your critical thinking and creative skills. Let’s find out strategies that work best for you; let’s make you a study plan that will motivate you. My goal is to make you a strong, talented writer that understands English grammar well, so you can be confident and proud of your work. Typically, I will first take note of your strengths and weaknesses in writing, and teach in a way that is comfortable for you. I understand tutoring can be boring so I will do my best to make it fun for you. If you become bored then we will make changes to fix that, as people are most receptive when having fun!

Chloe was an awesome tutor for me. I am a student at WACA Highschool, and we shared a few classes. In a live lesson I mentioned that I was struggling in English and she offered to tutor me for free. She gave me fun assignments and helped me get comfortable with English. I definitely recommend her tutoring! She is so sweet and patient. A great tutor and peer.
Chloë is a great teacher! She has taught me so much, she's very patient and with her help I have expanded my vocabulary so much! In more than just one language.
