About Finn
With over 10 years of experience in teaching singing, I am passionate about helping students of all ages develop their vocal skills and discover their unique sound. My journey as a singing tutor began with a deep love for music and a strong desire to share that passion with others. I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from school to college level, helping them build their confidence, improve their technique, and find their voice in both solo and group performances. Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how music can inspire and transform lives. One of my proudest milestones has been guiding students to participate in local and national competitions, where they’ve gained recognition for their vocal talents. I take great pride in watching my students grow not only as singers but also as individuals who feel empowered by their ability to express themselves through music. I believe that education is about nurturing creativity, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical abilities. My goal is to inspire my students to develop a lifelong love for singing and the arts.

My teaching methodology focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their full potential. I believe in compassion, offering personalised guidance to help each student grow at their own pace. I use real-life examples and case studies from the world of music to make learning relatable and practical. This helps students understand how the concepts they are learning apply to everyday singing situations. Creativity is key in my approach, as I encourage students to experiment with different vocal techniques, styles, and genres to find their unique sound. Flexibility is important, so I adapt lessons based on each student's needs and goals, whether they are beginners or advanced learners. I also emphasise accountability, helping students track their progress and stay motivated to reach their objectives. Besides singing, I offer lessons in related subjects such as music theory, vocal health, and performance techniques, ensuring a well-rounded musical education. My goal is to help students develop a passion for music and build lasting confidence in their abilities.
