About Amélie

I have been working in the media for almost 3 years. I was also a teacher at the Forbidden City in Beijing to teach the history of this emblematic place to primary school students for 3 years. I have studied and worked in China for 25 years and speak standard Mandarin Chinese (no regional accent). Also, I have a bachelor's degree in arts.

About the lesson

With me you will learn Chinese with books or using an app. I can also give reading and writing lessons according to your wishes and needs. I want to teach you Chinese in an environment and an approach that is as immersive as possible. For each lesson, I use my Powerpoints, combined with multimedia teaching (videos, images, books, etc.). With many years of experience in interviewing the media, through dialogues, presentations by Chinese celebrities, etc., you will have a better understanding of Chinese culture and how to communicate with Chinese people. I want to teach Chinese to the students in a totally personalized way according to their level, their speed and their aptitudes. For beginning students, I use fun game-style instruction. For advanced students, I use interview-style instruction instead.
