About Erin
I am a vocal tutor with 7 years of experience teaching students of all levels. My focus is on jazz and blues improvisation, including scat singing, melodic embellishments, and advanced harmony. Lessons help students build a distinctive and expressive voice. Ear training, chord theory, and scale application are key parts of each session. I tailor lessons to each student’s abilities and goals, ensuring a balance between technical growth and artistic development. Improvisation is taught with practical exercises and creative exploration. Students develop confidence in performance while gaining musical insight. Lessons combine technical skills, theory knowledge, and expressive freedom. The goal is to help singers grow into confident, knowledgeable, and versatile performers.
