Are you looking for a personalized learning path or tailored tutoring to meet your needs?
Do you want to develop strong technical skills for academia or the professional world? I’m here to guide you.

With over four years of experience as a computer engineer and two years as a teacher, I offer an approach focused on deep understanding of concepts, rather than just mechanically solving exercises. For me, it is essential that you grasp the reasoning and the "why" behind each step, so you can develop the tools needed to tackle any problem independently.

My goal? To help you develop an effective learning method, clear your doubts, and strengthen your knowledge through targeted exercises and clear explanations.

  • When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

I've been passionated about computers and mathematics since I was a child. One moment I'm particularly proud of (from a technical point of view) is when, at the age of nine, I managed to modify my own Wii Console software to support external videogames downloaded from the web. I later did the same for a friend's console. As for math, I still remember the pride I felt in primary school when I was the only student in the entire school to achieve the highest score on the final math test. In my own small way, I carry these moments as cherished memories from my childhood.

I began tutoring in high school, mostly helping friends. Later, during university, I started tutoring online, and I discovered it's something I truly enjoy.
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I mainly teach computer science, telecommunications, and mathematics. I enjoy discussing the reasons behind each decision, as I believe it's the key to truly learning something. I don't like excuses. I believe everyone can understand and learn these subjects. It's my job to make them accessible.
  • Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

I don't have a specific role model. Instead, I strive to learn from a variety of people so I can grow quickly and always give my best.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

The most important qualities for being an excellent tutor, besides technical skills, are empathy and the ability to put yourself in the student's shoes in order to truly understand their needs.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

Besides the Wii anecdote, another memorable moment was creating a Pong game in Python during my final year of high school. It was both fun and a meaningful step in my journey as a developer.
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

When it comes to mathematics, it was quite challenging until I truly understood the right approach and how to study it effectively. Everything is connected, and it's essential to grasp the reasoning behind the calculations and the theory (which is really important!). As for computer science, the biggest challenge is definitely keeping up with the new technologies and emerging possibilities.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

I love teaching. Outside of that, I enjoy staying active and spending time in nature. I walk a lot and often go cycling, many times for more than two hours a day. I also have a passion for reading and learning new things.
  • What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P)?

I love mentoring and being helpful to others, it makes me feel useful and genuinely great. I always try to understand the student's needs and create a synergy with them, so we can work together in the best possible way. It's this dedication, empathy, and personalized approach that, I believe, make me a true Superprof.
