About Nelly
French is my native language. I have lived in the UK for the past 30 years and I am bi-lingual.
I work as a French teacher in primary schools and plan and deliver a wide range of enjoyable, fun and dynamic lessons.
I have supported students in the preparation of their French GCSE and ensure that all my lessons are carefully prepared and tailored to their abilities and needs.
I am also a Teaching Assistant in KS2, supporting children with their English, Reading, Phonics and Maths.
I am DBS checked.

My lessons are one hour long. As a French National, I will be able to identify the students' needs and goals and figure out the best way to achieve them together so that they can fulfil their full potential. Also, I will seek to improve their confidence and understanding of the language in order to prepare them for both their oral and written work/exams.
I have a flexible approach and maintain an open dialogue about learning progress. I can either focus on areas of improvement and gaps or follow the curriculum and provide support with weekly lessons.
I am passionate about teaching French and can provide a full French cultural experience.
I also provide a free first lesson to give you the opportunity to get to know me. The first lesson will be a comprehensive assessment of the student's abilities and an open discussion about their goals and aims.
