About Sophia
Hello all,
My name is Sophia. I am from Washington D.C. and recently graduated from George Mason University’s Honors Program, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Administration. I also graduated as a University Scholar, this is a prestigious program awarded to the top 20 students of each class (George Mason has over 35 thousand students).
I've had the pleasure of instructing in school districts across Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, and I currently teach at SheEO Academy, a business school for children. In addition to being TEFL certified (teach English as a foreign language), I have 3+ years of experience tutoring elementary to middle school students in reading, writing, and mathematics.
I love to hike, swim, run, explore. During my time at University, I studied abroad and traveled to as many countries as I could. I have studied and lived abroad twice so far and would love to again. Soon I will be starting my full time position at the accounting firm, KPMG.
