I will teach you to bake any pastry fom cupcakes, macarons, wedding cakes and beautiful sugar flowers

Methodology

My teaching method is attention to each student individually , teaching them skills thus transferring my love for baking to them. I teach basic pastry such as cupcakes and cakes, as well as advanced baking such as macarons , how to cover cakes with fondant, making of buttercream and royal icing, sugar paste, making figurins and flowers from fondant and sugar paste

I have lots of experience in baking, sugarart and pastry, and experience in teaching children and adults
I have been teaching baking classes to children since 2012, and am presently teaching High School students for Consumer studies,I have taught adults (macaron classes) as well. I am upskilling myself constantly by attending advanced pastry and sugar Art classes with a highly experienced pastry chef

Preparing students for all practical baking and cooking classes, seeing that all practical tasks are completed, as well as assessing products that were baked or cooked and marking practical tasks that are completed for each practical lesson. Product cover the whole spectrum of skills that have to be learnt by students.
I present theory for Consumers as well, according to the Impaq curriculum
Practical yearly examinations are done every year by Impaq Assessors, at a specified location for this

Presenting of baking classes to 100 kids per month at various nursery Schools (Tiny Bakers)
Classes based on stimulation of sensory skills for kids at nursery schools: e.g. a Fruit or vegetable chosen, children taught about the fragrance of fruit (e.g.orange) shown an orange tree with blossoms, cutting the orange in half teaching them fractions, tasting the orange juice to teach them sour, sweet, bitter or salty tastes ( cacao used for bitter, lemon products for sour)
A recipe such as Jaffa muffins then made by little ones incorporating orange peel, orange juice and chocolate chips. 2 Recipes per month were presented to these various schools, e.g. cinnamon buns, various muffins, cupcakes, bread rolls, lemon tea cookies, pizza, pizza rolls, and various other
As a result of COVID these classes had to be stopped as the nursery schools only allow children and teachers into schools (please see my website : (concealed information) for more information

I created the idea of starting a Division aimed at stimulating the children through baking classes. The idea is that baking stimulates a variety of areas such as sensory, vocabulary, fine motor skills, general knowledge, mathematics , self confidence and science
A lesson would be presented regarding wheat, with visual aids such as a Power point presentation, pictures, wheat plant and then each child will get the ingredients to bake breadrolls . Kneading and rolling the dough develops fine and gross motor skills, new words are learnt and increased vocabulary. A lesson about vegetables would include for instance beetroot where red velvet cupcakes will be made with beetroot. A whole beetroot will be shown to the children, they learn about how it grows, that it needs sunlight and water to grow, the colour of the leaves and beetroot itself is shown and explained that it will be used in the recipe.
I started up the Division and built it up to a total of 140 children enrolled, with parents paying a fee per month. I did all purchasing of stock, invented a newsletter and sourced a graphic Designer to put our Newsletter together with photos taken by me or the teachers present. After two years I trained a baking assistant who measures the ingredients, bake samples of everything and sometimes assisted me in the classes. I sent out invoices as well as statements and had to make sure the money comes in.
