I am currently studying Mechanical engineering at the University of Warwick hoping to complete my masters in Economics . I play Badminton and competitively swim, while also enjoying watching Formula 1. I am from London and love travelling to many different countries

I believe that when it comes to tutoring, a successful approach involves creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. For example, lesson plans should be catered accordingly to each student. I also believe that by actively listening to student's concerns and understanding their unique learning challenges, I can adapt their teaching methods and pace accordingly as it is essential to encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills, rather than just providing answers.
I have tutored for about 3 years in total, 2 of them being with a tutoring company called first class learning, where I tutored students from a range of academic backgrounds and abilities, starting from the ages of year 1 up to year 11.
I gained a great deal of experience in this field as my communication skills were enhanced as i gained the ability to explain complex ideas in simpler terms
I also believe that by tutoring older students I was able to deepen my own understanding of certain subjects. For example, I started in sixth form where prior gcse knowledge was needed therefore by explaining concepts to someone else requires you to think critically and consider different perspectives, reinforcing my own knowledge and also refresh my memory of that content
