About Candy

I am Candy, and I am a working nurse in the NHS. I love to teach, and as education is one of the 4 pillars of nursing (along with clinical, research and leadership), I felt it was time I helped my to-be coworkers.
I recently qualified with a First Class Honours degree, and loved helping at least six of my classmates not just to pass, but to excel. I’ve also supported colleagues with master’s and top-up degrees. I enjoy being back in education, love reading essays, and excel at planning, presentations, and PowerPoints.
I am not able to help with OSCE's - this is for academic assistance only.

About the lesson

Hello! I’m a registered adult nurse with a First Class Honours degree in Adult Nursing, offering online academic and learning support to student nurses across all years of training.

I understand how intense nurse education can be, and how easy it is to feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin. My aim is to provide clear, supportive and confidence-building guidance, helping you understand exactly what your university is asking for.

I specialise in supporting students with:

Nursing assignments and essay structure

Reflective accounts (including NMC-style reflections)

Understanding learning outcomes and marking criteria

Leadership and facilitating learning modules

Critical analysis and use of evidence

Placement preparation and professional confidence.

My teaching style is calm, supportive and student-led. Rather than correcting work, I help you understand how to approach your assignment, organise your ideas and strengthen your academic voice.

I have strong knowledge of the NMC Code, reflective models and undergraduate nursing standards, and I adapt each session to your university requirements and learning style.

Sessions are friendly, non-judgemental and structured around what you need most, whether that is planning an assignment, improving critical thinking, or simply gaining reassurance that you are on the right track.

I do not write assignments for students. All support is educational, ethical and fully aligned with university and NMC expectations.

If you are feeling stuck, lacking confidence, or just need guidance from someone who understands nurse training, I would be very happy to support you.
