About Sara
I am a passionate classical guitarist who believes that music is a language, an art, and a necessity for humanity. My goal as a teacher is to help students develop their own musical voice while building a solid technical foundation that allows them to play with confidence, expression, and ease. Having studied music throughout my life, both with and without teachers, I understand the challenges and joys of learning an instrument. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s learning to read music, improving technique, preparing for exams or performances, or simply enjoying the guitar. I understand the importance of precision, agility, and tone control—all of which I integrate into my teaching approach. My lessons focus on technique, interpretation, and expression, ensuring that students not only play the notes but bring the music to life. I also incorporate history, composers, and listening into lessons to deepen appreciation and understanding of the instrument. As a parent, I value respectful, individualised teaching methods that support different learning styles, including neurodivergent ones. Music is more than just playing—it’s a language, an art, and a way to connect across time and culture. I strive to inspire my students to explore repertoire, composers, and historical context, developing a deep and personal relationship with music. Classical Guitar Lessons – Tailored to You Are you ready to explore the rich and expressive world of classical guitar? Whether you're a complete beginner or a self-taught player looking to refine your skills, I offer lessons that build a strong foundation while allowing you to develop your own musical voice. As a lifelong musician with a deep love for classical guitar, I bring both formal study and self-directed learning experience, giving me a broad perspective on how to help students progress in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. In my lessons, you will: Develop a solid technical foundation (right-hand technique, left-hand accuracy, tone control) Learn to play expressively and connect with the music Improve sight-reading, rhythm, and overall musical understanding Explore classical repertoire from different eras and composers Receive guidance for performance, exams, or simply playing for enjoyment My approach is structured yet flexible, with each lesson including warm-ups, exercises, repertoire, and elements of music history, theory, or listening, all tailored to your pace and learning style.
