About Tina
Learning a language takes a lot of bravery - I lived in Brazil as a teenager and in Spain as a young adult, and I know how scary it is to jump into using and understanding a language regardless of your level. I create a supportive environment where I encourage you to try, fail, and find what works for your learning.
In terms of more professional qualifications, I earned a BA Magna Cum Laude in Spanish Language and Literature from Lawrence University; I was a Mellon Research Fellow in the National Archives, Madrid; and I was the Head Writing Tutor and the Head Spanish Content Tutor at Lawrence University. I underwent extensive tutor training designed to support all learning styles and levels.
