About Gianna
I am a passionate flute tutor with 18 years of experience teaching High School, College students, and adults. I have taught around 300 students, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and musicality. My teaching style is patient, adaptable, and focused on making lessons both educational and enjoyable.
I combine music theory, technique, and performance practice to encourage steady progress while keeping lessons fun. Many students I have taught have performed in concerts, competitions, and school events, marking proud milestones in their musical journey. My aim is to help students develop skill, creativity, confidence, and a lasting love for the flute.

My flute teaching methodology is flexible and interactive. I adapt lessons to suit each student’s learning pace while maintaining clear and friendly communication.
I explain key flute techniques such as breath support, finger coordination, articulation, tone development, and rhythm in an easy and step-by-step manner. Lessons are interactive and encourage active participation.
I include real-life musical examples and case studies to show how flute skills are used in actual performances and recordings. This practical approach helps students connect exercises with real musical use.
In addition to flute lessons, I teach related subjects like basic music theory, ear training, rhythm control, scale development, sight reading, and simple improvisation. I also help students build effective practice habits and expressive playing skills.
