About Angela
I am a educator and fine artist specializing in painting and drawing. I received my BFA and BA from Colorado State University in painting and art education with a minor in English. I have been tutoring for 8 years with private clients and even in public schools. My work has been featured in publications like Scene Magazine, The Greyrock Review, and The Journal of Undergraduate Research. My studio practice is based in Hawaii and I am exhibiting my work nationally.

I believe everyone is an artist; the creative process is a skill that is interdisciplinary in the world we live in today, and essential for every student to discover. I hope to guide students to reconnect or develop this in themselves. I am passionate about awakening the artist in every student, and providing a class with supports where students feel like they can be confident in developing technical skills, posing and solving problems, experimenting with materials, and getting involved in art no matter what experience level they have or perceive.
