About Pierre
I am an experienced lecturer, writer, and translator. I am native fluent in English, French, and Dutch. I studied in Belgium, in Ireland, and in Australia. I hold a PhD in media and communication. I worked for Murdoch University in Perth and for Macleay College and Ruby Institute in Melbourne. I have taught critical reading and professional writing, and I have published fiction, non-fiction, and academic papers in English and in French.

My teaching is grounded in practical exercises and discussions on critical concepts. Lessons typically run for one or two hours depending on the actual topic of the day. I hold a PhD and I am an experienced tutor, lecturer, and course designer. I am a published translator French to English and English to French. I teach reading, writing, literacy, and literature. I teach students 16 years or older at all levels except beginners. I teach primarily at tertiary level, including in professional and vocational training. I will tutor high school students to perfect their reading and writing competency in French and in English.
