I am a recent R-MC graduate (Chemistry major with an emphasis in Biochemistry).
I graduated college in three years with the intent to attend graduate school next year. Organic Chemistry was the chemistry class which I enjoyed and understood the most, with Biochemistry coming in second place; but I definitely want to spread the beauty of every branch of chemistry.
I have several tips in order to ace organic chemistry and for surviving college life in general!
I have conducted research for over a year in synthetic organic chemistry and presented this research at the 253rd ACS Meeting in SF. So I am fairly confident with communicating my science to many!
I was a TA/lab assistant for Analytical Chemistry which involved helping the professor and the students with laboratory procedures or any materials/lessons needed for a lab session.
*My only private tutorial experiences included providing volunteer tutor services to science major international students. They have however, fervently continued to pursue a science major (Biology and Chemistry to name a couple).
Online vs Face-to-face
Online rates are typically lower: $15/hour
Note that online or distance-learning style doesn't work for every student especially for subjects that require visual-learning (ie: Organic Chemistry)
