About Ana
I am a Spanish teacher living in Leeds and Harrogate. My degree is in English language, culture and literature at the University of Alicante and Sheffield Hallam University. I have also studied my Post Graduate Certification in Education in Spanish for Secondary School at Leeds Trinity University.
I have experience teaching adults and children as a private tutor, as a languages academy teacher and as a Secondary school teacher.

I am a Spanish teacher who is looking to give lessons to children and adults. Within my experience, I have a lot of resources to help students to develop the skill that they want to improve. I have experience teaching adults from the beginning of their learning in the Spanish language to adults with a Spanish degree. Also, as a Secondary teacher, I know what to teach to get higher marks in GCSE exams.
My lessons will cover the 4 skills: writing, listening, speaking and reading.
My method is starting the lessons with listening and speaking skills continued by reading/translating skills and finishing with writing.
The structure of my lesson will start with a Starter where we will see new structures/vocabulary or revision. Afterwards, different oral activities to practice what we learnt and translating/ reading comprehension to consolidate the knowledge and, as the last step, a piece of writing where the students write their own sentences.
