About Sarah
Having graduated summa cum laude with my BA in music, it's since been my joy to guide and collaborate with musicians in all different phases of ability and skill level. I've taught theory to youth affected by parental incarceration, and found nothing as rewarding as helping them succeed and help them overcome numerous obstacles along the way. I also had the privilege of mentoring peers in my undergraduate program in theory throughout my collegiate career.
I'm passionate about connecting with others and walking alongside them in various areas of study. Learning can and should be a source of joy, and it's my hope that you'll find just that during our time together!

I'd love to teach students of any age, from learning music theory for the very first time to students learning theory as part of their undergrad program! I would also love to teach students of any level of ability or disability. When we first connect, I'll want to know about your reasons for seeking tutoring and your personal goals. We'll work through your class material, or choose the materials that will best help you meet your goals.
