About Jasper

I’m a dedicated guitar tutor with 9 years of experience, specializing in inclusive and accessible music education. With a Bachelor of Music Education focused on Guitar, I bring both technical skill and teaching expertise to every lesson. Over the years, I’ve worked extensively with visually impaired and differently-abled students, tailoring my methods to suit diverse learning needs.
My approach includes tactile notation techniques that allow students to “feel” the music as they learn. I also incorporate audio cue training, helping learners build a strong sense of pitch, harmony, and progression. Rhythm is central to my teaching. I guide students in developing solid timing and groove through clapping exercises, tapping drills, and guided playing.
Lessons are interactive and structured to balance creativity with skill-building. I adapt to each student's pace, using alternative strategies that boost confidence and independence. Whether you're a complete beginner or advancing your skills, I’ll help you progress in a supportive environment.
