About Anshika
Hi! My name is Anshika and I'm an undergraduate at LSE.
I first started teaching in high school when I volunteered to single-handedly tutor 25 students because our Physics teacher resigned quite abruptly. Since then, I have had almost 4 years of experience in teaching elementary, secondary and senior secondary level Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English and Hindi.
A few lessons that I picked up throughout this journey include learning the importance of making a personalised study plan for each of my students, alongside setting up a regular feedback mechanism which has resulted in all my students having zero complaints under my tutelage.
My qualifications include:
1. Obtained 1st class at the London School of Economics (LSE)
2. SAT High Score of 1300/1600
3. NTSE Stage 1 (Rank 20 in Punjab)
4. CBSE Topper (97.4% and 100/100 in two subjects)

About the lesson

In terms of my teaching techniques, I first get to know my student's strengths and weaknesses by sending them a short quiz beforehand. Furthermore, I regularly take their feedback into account, making sure that the classes are interactive and accessible.
Secondly, I divide my sessions into three parts: Consolidation, Current and Q&A. This is to ensure that the student has a basic understanding of the previous topic as well as the current one.
As for my special features, I feel that my ability to communicate with clarity as well as my 2+ years of experience in the field, helping students jump from a B- to A+ in two months says a lot about the efficiency of my approach.
Lastly, my classes are intended for all age groups till high school, but that is negotiable.
