My teaching methods are learner centered
My teaching methods... I base my methods on mostly a group lessons in a way that the ones who are fast can assist those who are slow I also enjoy doing one on one whereby I can monitor how a student's mind function...
I approach each and every topic by firstly analysing what is being asked first and identify given options and make sure i come up with different ways to attack until i reach to a final step which all students will know it
I believe the best method to learn and grip with a concept is to do examples, especially for Maths and Physical Sciences. I prefer to work through the student's textbook and examples brought up in class, however I am willing to provide my student with additional examples for practice. I would usually assign more examples during the lesson specific to the areas where he/she may be struggling.
My teaching method is topic by topic, beginning from first principles moving forward to the more complex theories and principles
I approach each individual differently and according to their needs. Those who are slow to grasp information , receive more lessons and on a longer duration, this is to ensure that everyone is accommodated. I usually use past question papers and different textbooks to introduce my learners to different types of questions.
My teaching metgod is different for each student meeting them where they are at and addressing problems in tge foundation. Love to build the student's confidence.
My teaching Methodology is a combination of Discussion and Lecture method. Which allows learner interactiveness and a learner-centered instruction.
Since January 2015, I have been a Teacher Assistant and Maths Tutor and Maths substitute teacher at the school. So I have the experience, enthusiasm, and a very positive person. I believe in the power of instruction. Give them a chance and the students will surprise both you and themselves but first: you have got to listen to their life stories.
My approach is problem solving. I prefer to revise the laws and go through the theory before starting with exercises. I keep my sessions interactive and prefer to exchange knowledge rather than just to giving it. The great leaders leave a legacy.
I believe that practice makes perfect, but the student also needs to understand what he/she is doing. This is vital as with understanding the method will come second nature. To gain understanding it's sometimes better to go back to a CPA approach of concrete, pictorial then abstract.
I am an expereinced, dedicated, patient and enthusiastic primary school teacher, with an unwavering commitment to academic excellence. I believe in educating children with heart to ensure that each precious child develops to their full potential. I love stimulating and supporting young learners using a fun, hands on approach and fostering a 'can do' attitude in each child.
My teaching method is to ensure I have a good understanding of the subject to ensure that the learner can obtain that knowledge and master the subject as well as love it. Approaching a subject like maths is not easy thus I like to assist young children in developing a love of maths early in their education.
I am a patient and creative teacher. I believe that you cannot teach someone without finding a connection. I have taught Math to learners who are between 9 to 14 years old. My lessons will always start off recapping what we have learnt, building on the knowledge and evaluating what we can or cannot still do.
I have oodles of patience and compassion. I have been on the other side and I therefore understand when you struggle. I have lectured to learners at school (Grades 5 - 12), learners at Technikon level (First year up to fourth year). My teaching method is in some cases still old-school - board and chalk, pen and paper. However, technology has also caught up with me over the years.
I like to simplify topics and make them easier to understand by putting my own spin on them. I prefer to help people with their own understanding problems.
I give maths lessons from grade 1 up to grade 12. I prefer one on one, in order for me to understand the type of student I'm working with and from there i teach according to how they'll easily understand the work.
I always start my lessons by checking the background information on my learners.I do this by asking questions on prior knowledge. This will guide me on where and how to start a topic.Throughout the lesson, I will be using a question and answer technique, and also giving learners chance to solve problems individually.
I believe in play-based education, peer work and experimental learning. These methods allow learners to first construct knowledge on the subject on their own before hearing from me. I believe that just because a student needs extra guidance does not mean they are a lost cause, they just need more help to reach their full potential...
By adopting a step by step teaching approach, I aim to ensure that all students establishes a good foundation of the basic principles relating the subjects covered. After which specific topics and problems are handled. This will ensure a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
I give learners examples before i give them an activity make sure that they understand then give them jokes for examples
My methodology is teaching by personal interaction and I prefer to rather communicate with people so that they learn as they progress. I can teach wherever the students feel most appropriate and efficient. I find that helping and guiding students to learn by doing the work themselves and I serve as a guide is more efficient than then just giving a digital lesson.
I usually give a theoretical background, make sure the student understands the theory, and then solve a few related example. I also give some homework, i.e problems to solve, so that the student can check himself, in the next lesson we verify that homework was done correctly.
My teaching method often depends on the kind of student I teach and so I take time to discover the student's learning styles (Aural, kinesthetics, visual... ) in order to be effective. Aside that, I also love to use objects around, real life situations to deliver the concept I have in mind.
My teaching strategy was adopted from my Mentor and maths teacher , moving from the known to unknown, also the importance of breaking down the theory because Mathematics are numbers not notes which shall be.
My teaching method is sharing my own strengths and weaknesses so that the people I'm tutoring can not be uptight..i give examples so that the subject can be easily understood.I start with easiey stuff so that the person can be interested in learning the subject.
I'm naturally a very patient guy. I always encourage students to attempt the problem/task first on their own and see where they struggle. From there I teach them the basic concepts, where and when to use them. Finally we tackle some problems until they confident that they can do it on their own.
I believe on a one on one approach so that I give the student undivided attention and focus on trouble areas which the student is facing.
