My teaching method is to break each topic into small components and use previous question papers to test the level of understanding
I explain the content to learners first then start giving learners class work and home work everyday of a tutoring session. i give lessons to learners from grade 6 to 12. I do go through the common past national maths papers with learners to get them ready for the common exams MR DANIEL ADDICO.
My teaching method is explaining and then the learner attempts for themselves. I watch each step that the learner does while trying to solve problems. I step in when need arises to explain how and why.
I use learner centred methods which revolve around self discovery techniques. I hold B.ed in mathematics and can teach/tutor grade 7 up to advanced level.I connect well with learners of different ages, abilities, backgrounds, race and religions.I also assist in exam or test preperation.
I hold BEd in Mathematics Education and well organized in every aspect I believe in student centered education I do not monopolize the class I trust myself on bridging the gap of students who are struggling with a certain topic of a subject matter
My teaching method may vary from student to student. I do a small evaluation test before the first lesson to gauge any indication of strengths and weaknesses. I found that students sometimes just don't test well even though they know their work, so I focus on getting the student test ready over and above understanding the content. I focus on basics, because sometimes that is lacking the most.
I am a management student and i give lessons basically to high school and college students. My students can ask any questions that they have problems with an i can assist them with and even during exam time i assist them with studying.
I always try to make my learners comfortable approaching my lessons in a different way. Trying to get them involved in my tutoring is a good way to start off a lesson. Asking them their opinions about a particular sum and how they can work around it. I come from a very difficult past and often times, it crippled me from achieving certain goals.
I like to make my classes/sessions interactive, it gives that atmosphere which is very conducive for involvement and creative thinking. I give real life examples to physics concepts. Physics and mathematics are just fun and exciting, encouraging such mood gets learning easiest.
My teaching method is learner-centered where I try explain concepts in a way they can understand and in a more practical way.
So I can basically tutor anybody in high school. I am not as tuned up with grade 11 and 12 but I can learn. I have a lot of experience with grade 8-10 learners and was able to improve marks exponentially.
I believe in having people understand new concepts and not try to memorise them like parrots. I believe in this day and age, people need to be given guidelines on how to reason through problem instead of being told what they should think. Thus my style is to find ways for each student to understand the work they have to do as best as they can.
My tutoring is based on first getting an idea of just where the students strengths and weaknesses are (likes and dislikes), ensuring the basic principles are in place and then tackling the areas viewed as difficult, and getting them to like Maths and Physics.
My teaching method is breaking the work into smaller, more approachable sections. I also try to incorporate the school work into the experiences of the students to make it more relatable to them.
I often give lessons to family and friends. I am comfortable with tutoring using new and old methods. I am also flexible to adjusting my teaching to what the student is most enjoys. I look forward to celebrating many successes with all my students.
I am a person who is versatile and can incorporate different teaching methods which are best for each and every learner
I teach using a practical approach by working through what the student is currently learning. The lessons will review the work done since the time of the last lesson and prepare the student for work done in the upcoming week.
My lessons are custom-fit, I believe in teaching through examples. My lessons explore many physical senses, that's how we understand.
Being an education student, I have learned various teaching methods to use with in a classroom. However I feel that the interactive teaching method usually works best with children, because there are countless ways to check for a learner’s understanding. I prefer being more practical and hands on, so engaging with a student is really important.
I believe in understanding through practice and teaching. My students should be able to teach me the topics they once struggled with. That will only be possible if they are able to apply the skills we practice to unseen materials like a past paper they haven't done or challenges I engineer for them.
I teach senior phase and FET phase, using my own material ranging from slides, PDF and additional worksheets, formal and informal assessments. My teaching style is learner ended teaching, whereby not only am I teaching but also learning from students. I also offer academic counseling to struggling learners as to motivate them.
I will generally have a look at the main topics of a subject and how it is presented and adapt to the best method suited for the student. I will identify the areas where the student is not fully confident in his understanding. I will work on approaches with which they can solve problems. I also like to develop my own problems and mock tests. Although repetition is key, parrot learning is not.
My teaching method is, I encourage learning by using a number of different manipulatives, hands-on activities, and various forms of technology. By incorporating class discussions, open-ended questions, and cooperative learning I am able to facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive class atmosphere.
With maths it all comes down to learn, practice and repetition. There is an old saying that says practice makes perfect. Allow me to take the fear out of maths and make it a sunny walk in the park.
My approach is basically based on giving the student what they need. I pay attention and listen in order to problem shoot what we specifically need to work on. I assess on a regular basis just so that i can know if my student is really understanding the work. It is a free and pleasant learning environment, filled with a mixture of working hard while laughing hard.
My teaching method is I first explain the whole chapter and while explaining I also highlight where there is an exam question with all the required principles which are in line with the module outcome, then later on I give activities based on what I had taught including checking if the student understand through cross questioning.
The method to me is only the approach to the issues at end. A bad student could be one who suffers from self esteem around his classmates... So, my focus is to assess on the student's deficiency and fix it.
When I teach, I first discuss the objectives with the student, so that they know what they are expected to know and understand by the end of the lesson. I follow the exam guidelines with matriculants. Secondly, a lot of practice. Especially with mathematics and Physics. I solve a few problems with my students and then make them practice on their own until they can do it without any assistance.
My teaching method involves discussions, questions, short quiz tests and most importantly, see and revise. Each lesson topic will be based on your active topic and topic that you have already done or will be doing.
I am a believer in observational learning so my method of teaching include some experiments that the student have done at school and expand on them.
