I believe every learner has some form of knowledge. Learners are not empty vessels hence I facilitate learning rather than spoon feeding them with information. I use classroom discussion and problem solving method to encourage learners to gain critical thinking skills and be open minded so that they can be innovative and independant.
I base my classes on understanding and rewards. We will go over our work until it's understood. Rewards increase self confidence and inspire anyone to work harder.
My teaching methodology is that I start by getting to know my learners and try to understand why they aren't performing as well as they want to, establishing whether the problem is a lack of understanding or test/exam anxiety and how they do their homework and study for tests helps me structure my lessons to that specific learner because I believe no two learners are the same and so my approach...
I approach each topic by preparing for the lesson well in advance. I find simple ways to explain the content and find as many exercises as possible for me to work through with the learners. The more examples the learners are exposed to, the better equipped they will be to answer questions and understand the work.
My teaching method is problem based teaching. This type of teaching is very effective as it boosts the attitude and morale of learners ,it improves the problem solving and investigative skills of the leaners.
My teaching method depend on the topic and the types of learners I have. Methods vary with topics and learners. I usually use question and answers for recall questions in order to seek for prior knowledge, direct instruction for introducing new info or skill and active learning when learners have to practice a new skill and build new info on top of what they already know.
My methodology is simple: practice, practice, practice! Where each task is based solely on the learner's capacity and pace at which they can understand and grasp concepts, not just to be able to do something but to be absolutely excellent at it
I use a method I call "stupid math" where I explain the work or calculations in a manner that makes it seem "stupid" so that it is easier to understand and grasp the concept of. The key problem with some educators is that they forget that their learners are not as educated as they are. Often teaching methods and concepts that are too confusing for the average learner.
My teaching methodology is trying to break down math from being a difficult hard to explain subject to something that is easy to understand. I believe in using simple english to explain math and biology concepts that are difficult for some students.
My teaching method is I take it from scratch, I like building a solid foundation first because I believe kids are like buildings without a solid foundation they will crumble. I start from the beginning and work my way up I challenge there minds to think different about each problem and I use every day examples to make learning fun and easier to understand.
My teaching approach with a subject like mathematics is based purely on doing examples since Maths is not a swotting subject. The more you practice the more you will understand.I do ,of course ,explain the methods I am using and the relevant formulas and how to use them.
I approach each topic by having a few objectives and teach according to those objectives. At the end, the learner gets to be sure on what they are insecure about and try amend those insecurities (regarding the work). I go step by step to enable the person to know the basic principles so that it will be easier to approach the sums.
I like to say I am a psychologist by nature and so I firmly believe that it is important for a teacher to understand the mindset composition of the majority of the learners. So I first psychoanalyze the learners, know how they feel about the subject matter then I induce feelings of ease and excitement by giving them a simple overview of the material.
My teaching method is i will teach and give practical examples afterwards. I will let you try to work it out and if you're not understanding i teach again until you finally get it. And i am very patient if you don't understand.
During our meetings, I will focus more in laying a solid foundation in terms of what we will cover during the year.
My method is first acknowledging the problem areas and learning more about this problem and then working together on it.
At first i ask students to write a test so it enables me to see what is most lacking. I teach by making the most work as a project pr an assignment so the learner/student will easily see the practicality of the subject. I provide tutorials/revision sessions.
I love tutoring small groups because I want to give each individual attention. I base my lessons on the student's understanding of that topic and giving my students a lot of practice from the textbook and previous question papers.
I approach each topic as if you have never done it before thus explain the basics first then build up from there. I furthermore believe in student participating and asking for clarification if they dont understand.
I focus on helping the child with homework that they are struggling with or getting ready for a test.
My teaching methods include brainstorming, role playing as well as discussions and classic lecturing. I am fluent in ten of the official languages in South Africa and am willing to help with the content in any of these. I make school fun by removing the formal settings of the classroom.
I basically do a recap of what they have done in class, give the student a few math problems based on what we have done and see where he/she needs help and we keep practicing and also after every 2 weeks they are tests given to the students of all the things they have learnt so that I make sure they have grasped everything and we are moving together
My teaching method is to first start by explain to the whole group if it's a group, then there after give then questions to answer individual and I'll check their answers one on one so I'll be able to see where the child went wrong or didn't understand and explain to him/her as an individual.
My teaching method is simple. I base my lessons on what the students are currently doing st school and see what they struggle with.
I am very passionate about teaching as much as I could, bit I do understand that different schools have different syllabuses and methods, therefore I take the work done in school and build from there to create a better understanding of the work, rather than just introduce new topics.
I believe that every person has their own way of doing things, so instead of teaching my students what to learn I also teach them how to learn and what they can do to be a better version of themselves
I like to run though a section nice and slowly where I do 1 or 2 examples step by step with the learner. I then give them a few to do with my help.
My teaching method is first approaching the class on what they know about the topic so i can know where i can polish more on the lesson i will be presenting to them. Also it is important into checking their understanding by giving class maths games based on the topic.
I believe in the method where theory can be taught by practical examples. Most important approach is practice. Mathematics is all about practice.
My teaching method is tutorial (use previous question papers) to give clue as to how a student can tackle questions, and to make every learner understand the topics they struggle with.
