My teaching method is very practical, I approach my class with much preparation, having written my lesson note,it prepares me on the methodology to use,the objectives to achieve at the end of the lesson, instructional materials to use for the lesson etc.
i try to teach students with ast papers in order to help them answer the questions and see how to layout their work. this exposes the student to a lot of different questions that are all examinable and helps them think in an exam type of way.
My teaching methodology is I am more focused on what students are struggling and what they need to learn. I attract the students' attention and make my lessons more interesting so that students feel comfortable with me.
My teaching methods are easy,I do introduction and few examples of the topic. Give a learner a chance to solve few different problems to see if understanding is there. Before any session I give my learners to tell me what new they have learned in that session or any clariclarification in topic of the day.
My teaching method is going through every example with the learner, before i start a chapter i ask questions about it to check the knowledge the learner has about the chapter and then after each chapter i ask questions about the chapter to check if the leaner understood everything
-I am a friendly university student studying BCom Accounting CA and I have a history of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. -I use a Student-Centered method of tutoring which each student’s interests, abilities and learning style in which studies show that usage of this method have developed greater skills for independent problem solving, critical thinking and reflective thinking.
My teaching method is through demonstrations, experiments pictures and videos so to inspire the students. I also understand that each individual leaner has their own unique way of understanding the world according to how they have formulated their own opinion of it, and thus have a lot to bring to the table when teaching them about natural sciences.
My teaching methods include one on one and class lessons. In class I use chalk board to teach and explain concepts of focus. On one on one ,I usually use textbook and power point presentations to explain the concepts.I can also schedule online lessons.
I believe in working a lots of exams and test questions to get trends and to be more prepared. I go from easy questions to more challenging ones and spend time explaining complex things. I hope I can make maths fun for you as it was for me.
My main approach is to start with the basics of the topic, once the student has shown some understanding then we do the related and expand on the course outline. Generally the student level of understanding is the key guide to pace, in most cases this has transformed into excellent results.
My teaching method is based on making sure that the basics are all in place before we begin with the task at hand. If the basics are not there, you are guaranteed to fail, so i ensure that my learners are well prepared even before we start the current lesson.
My focus area is High School Mathematics. I like to structure and adapt my lessons /sessions according to each student as each person is unique in the way that they learn. I like to go through the content of the work with my students, make sure they have a good basic understanding of the work we are going through and then work through a few questions together.
I teach by performing practical examples and also engaging learners to participate. We all know that practice makes perfect. I ensure that we do exercises after a lesson. We also analyze the tricks on the questions and how to tackle the question.
I teach technique and method and content. I also teach memory techniques to focus and concentrate. I do assessments also. Am easy going, patient and focussed. Am flexible to family and student needs. Am a travelling tutor. I do past papers also.
Doing and learning mathematics requires the student to grapple with the concepts. Since each student have a different starting point I use small group instruction and collaborative learning to individualise learning for my students.
As a Maths Tutor I want my students to succeed in math. I believe that in order to achieve this the students need to enjoy Maths. By being intentional and using creative approaches in my instruction such as making jokes that help learners to remember important maths concepts; i believe I can get students excited about math.
My teaching method is always about theory, especially in mathematics. I want to change the idea that formulas just appear and mathematical rules are just there, I want my students to see, appreciate and understand where it all comes from and my core belief is once they do so they will be able to answer any question given to them.
I have been teaching for the past 8 years and have experience teaching learners with learning difficulties. I am often complimented for my patience with learners. I believe that each learner has his/her own pace and that lessons should be planned according to each learner's individual needs in order to ensure that they leave with a good understanding of the work, after each lesson.
My teaching method is based on understanding concepts and frameworks. I look to create a judgment-free zone where the student can articulate their own understanding and I can help fill in the gaps. I ensure the session is student-led so they can leave feeling more confident to tackle the work on their own in the future.
I don't just follow the syllabus. I first find out where the child is academically and from their build on that to get the child where they need to be.
My teaching method is better if we do it as a class together and demonstrate using my body or something that can make them easily remember what we did in class.
My aim is to pass on vital knowledge to learners that will help them not only understand mathematics, but also to enjoy it. I believe it is very important to build a solid foundation when it comes to mathematics and I recommend that students start early in the year.
I would like to sit with the student and identify their weak areas, needs and goals. Then come up with a plan of how many sessions and the amount of practice they will need. I emphasize practice to learn the skills and build confidence.
My principle is that every student carries a potential to be great in their academics but it takes a patient and understanding tutor to get the student to that level of greatness, the way i structure the lessons is in such a way that the student learns the convenient methods to any problem and how it relates to the content being taught in class.
I am very flexible, everything will be done in the favour of help seeker, to encourage flexible learning and inevitably understanding. The method is restricted, solutions will be sent to the student in written form especially for mathematics with reasoning.
I offer individual as well as group tutoring sessions, noting that the groups may not exceed 3 members. I offer tutoring in Mathematics, Computer Applied Technology, English, Afrikaans and Biology for primary students as well as high school students for selected subjects. The student(s) should inform me on the work he/she has an issue with in order for me to prepare for the lesson.
My approach to teaching is the discussion method It gives me a chance to evaluate the amount of knowledge the learner has about a particular topic and helps me determine the best way to approach the topic. I like my teaching sessions to be interactive.
On the first day of our session i give out a pre test to get an idea of the what are the strengths andweaknesses of the student.
Mathematics is a practical subject. I use different styles of teaching depending on the needs of the students. I also give the parent of the student my personal contact number to contact me anytime they need help with my work.
I adhere to the warmer, body, plenary structure when I teach a formal class and I intend to teach mostly to high school students in the Cape Town and Stellenbosch areas. I also try to minimise teacher talk time and guide students to solving their problems themselves.
