I keep my lessons fun with diverse methods and content where we focus on making content relatable so that the student is interested and willing to engage.

My teaching methods are very fluid. I believe in eliciting from students what works best for them and then tailoring my lessons to their approach to learning style as apposed to them falling in with my teaching style. I love working with foreigners who are eager to learn the language and I work a lot with visual stimulation and general topics so that they can learn to express themselves in everyday situations as soon as possible in either French or English. I also focus on the specific needs of the learner e.g. if the person is a nurse, we will focus a lot on vocabulary that such a person would need.
I believe that the success of a child’s ability to achieve his full potential, is by developing his reading skills. Not assisting him/her in developing this ability can lead to a lifetime of struggling to read and underachievement. That is why my strategy is to always focus on reading skills and the rest will be child’s play.

When teaching, I include whole brain teaching - a case of different strokes for different folks. People learn differently from one another so I try to match the style of teaching to the student.
I focus on day to day vocabulary, but gradually grow vocabulary considering your prospective career field. I use short passages to ask questions related to the passage to help build your vocabulary. I like using antonyms and synonyms, because they help one learn faster.
