I use the following different teaching methods to engage, motivate and reach the students in my classes, whether in person or online: *Behaviorism *Social Cognitive theory *Multiple Intelligences Theory *Constructivism *Universal Design for Learning My teaching style is blended, I combine several learning styles into one lesson like lecturing from a PowerPoint – not reading the information on t
I have been teaching for 8 years, have enjoyed interactive classroom where a teacher does not become an authoritarian. allowed my students to expressed themselves, give their own understanding of the subject and i would come it as a mediator.
My teaching method is exceptional due to the commitment and passion to see all student succeed regardless of his/her learning techniques. The lesson structure is based on: understanding concepts, remembering what has been taught, mastering the technique to answer questions and knowing the difference between reading and practising.
My tutoring style is based on the group or individual concerned.
I prefer one-to-one sessions, ranging from 30 mins (primary school learners) to 1 hour and a half (gr 8 and 9). I use the CAPS guidelines as well as my own notes and examples when approaching a subject matter. I deal with one topic at a time, explaining the basic concepts first before exploring the different types of examples usually asked in tests, assignments and exams.
My teaching methodolgy is reputation. If a child is struggling with a concept I believe that they should not move on to the next cocept until such time as they have grasped the current concept. I am a very stricted teacher.
My teaching method is to understand the way the child learns and teach them based on that and by following what they are asked to do in class by their teacher so that they do not become confused by two different methods.
My approach to lessons is fun and enthusiastic while maintaining discipline and learning throughout the lesson. I give lessons to young students in English, Mathematics and Life Skills. I also give lessons to university students studying for their qualification in Early Years Education.
My teaching method is as follows: 1. To begin with an introduction in order to find out the level of understanding of the client/learner. Figure out if the learner is a visual learner or the like. 2. To work out a teaching plan based on the topics which they are having difficulties with and using graphs and images and making the information relevant to them as much as possible. 3.
I have taught in the foundation phase for 7 years specializing in grade 1. I have found that teaching methods vary and are based on each childs specific needs and abilities. Some children learn practically or concretely, some visually and others auditively. Therefore one cannot use the same method for each child.
I base my classes on the WCED learning programs and help learners to understand rather than memorizing information. If they understand the content they are able to apply it and give back much more easily when doing assessments. Understanding rather than memorizing.
I use practical hands-on examples and will show you exactly how to do a literature review to find the gap in knowledge (in ten days!); how to write a significance statement, an abstract, structure a dissertation or academic article, formulate a research proposal and every other aspect of research from start to finish.
I teach foundation Phase children all subjects, english , maths and life skills. I have 25 years experience and enjoy watching young children grow and learn. I am able to give support lessons to learners who have not yet reached their full potential.
During my studies and practicals I have learned and saw the importance of involving the learners in all the activities. Therefor my teaching method is learner based, where the learner learns by being involved in all activities, learning through playing and by means of asking open ended questions.
Make it simple and relevant...if it is exciting and understandable then we can all learn, absorb and enjoy, with out it being a chore and here today and forgotten tomorrow. I hope I would make learning fun too. Patience is also a big thing, patience patience patience.
I use simulation based learning and provocative learning.
I would love to work with students in small groups or rather one on one. I'm very patient and really want children to do well in school. I am Primary School subjects trained but have 12 years of Kindergarten experience as well.
My goal is to get the student to understand it in the way easiest for him/herself. I teach by ways the student learns best. If the student learns best in a visual way, then I shall teach it to the learner in that way.
My teaching approach is online learning and I always give extra support where needed. I give my lessons to students that require support in academic literacy and research. I only work through e-mail or an online platform (the one that suits you best).
My teaching method is introduce a topic demostrate and practice identifing problem areas and focusing on the area for each problem and dealing with it
My philosophy is all children can and can pass,My approach is to vary teaching methods and styles as to cator for individual differences like dramatisation, grouping, role plays, interviews, case studies (projects),home work and experiments.Because of my Special Needs skills I will help even the slowest learner up to the extend of engaging parents and psychologists.
I base my classes on experimental learning and flipped classroom methods. I work with my students to set clear goals and work towards reaching them.
My teaching methods vary from learner to learner though my principle is basic: get to know each individual, their needs and use the best approach to bring out the best in them.
I base my teaching firstly on trust and kindness as each child is different. Patience is the key. I normally tutor children in lower grades from grade 1 to 7. I am not a teacher but a stay at home mum and am proud to say I have a raised a full academic colours daughter who is currently writing her first novel.
Primary school level with a strong focus on comprehension skills enabling students to read for meaning and applying the skills learnt to all areas of school work. This is done in a fun loving way using many different teaching techniques.
My teaching method is "we learn together" I don't just stand infront of the class and lecture. No, I firtsly try to understand what the student already knows and I build on that. I always do a "learning style quiz" before the semester starts to establish how my students learn best. This way I know how to interact with them in a way they will remember.
"Children must be taught HOW to think, and not WHAT to think" I encourage active learning and believe that all children are smart and can achieve. Having an engaging teaching style and bubbly personality, my aim is to make learning fun. I am able to teach children in the Foundation Phase.
I base my classroom teachings by providing practical examples that students can relate to I engage with the students to get an idea of what they think I encourage students to read case studies around that topic in question so they can understand
I base my teaching on grounded knowledge in different subjects.
