About Orla

I am an undergraduate student in Trinity College studying both French and Irish as part of my European Studies degree. I received 100% in my French and Irish LC papers, and this year I was elected as a Non-Foundation Scholar upon sitting a set of exams which included an Irish and French paper.
I am passionate about teaching and making my students feel confident in their studies. I think this confidence is greatly enhanced by the one to one attention they receive in grinds as it is guaranteed that their individual needs are addressed.

About the lesson

I take a personalised approach to grinds in which I tailor each lesson to cater to my students’ needs.
For Leaving Cert, I will break down the paper and pay equal attention to each aspect of the exam, ensuring the student is fully ready for both their oral exam and the written paper.
As I will be on Erasmus, I can only facilitate online lessons.

Orla gave me Irish grinds and I improved so much. I went from not understanding simple grammar, to being able to confidently speak as gaeilge (even without having a paragraph learnt off!) She has a true love for the language which makes her a much more motivated teacher!!
