About Zoe
I have 11 years of experience teaching French and hold a Bachelor’s in French Language and a Master’s in Language Education. My academic training provided advanced knowledge of grammar systems, phonetics, language development, and teaching methodology. I have guided students preparing for examinations, international programmes, professional communication, and personal growth.
I believe effective language instruction requires organisation, patience, and encouragement. I design clear lesson plans tailored to each student’s goals and ability level. My French lessons focus on developing accurate grammar, confident pronunciation, and natural conversational skills in a balanced way. I begin by strengthening pronunciation fundamentals such as vowel clarity, nasal sounds, and correct stress patterns. Proper pronunciation helps students feel more confident when speaking and improves listening comprehension. Grammar topics including verb tenses, sentence formation, agreement rules, and question structures are explained clearly in simple English. Students complete structured exercises after each explanation to reinforce understanding and reduce repeated mistakes.
As learners grow more comfortable, we expand vocabulary through themes such as travel, academic discussions, workplace communication, and cultural topics. Conversation practice is included in every lesson so students can apply grammar and vocabulary actively. Listening exercises improve comprehension of natural speech speed and varied accents. Writing activities focus on organisation, clarity, and grammatical precision.
Regular review sessions strengthen retention and ensure consistent improvement over time. My goal is to help students communicate confidently in French-speaking environments.
