I am a high schooler who loves music. I want to show people you can learn anything. I know that kids have mental health and medical illnesses and learning about music I believe helps with coping.

About Isabel
I normally would do basics to clarinet/ oboe/ and music theory. Whether you are looking for a start or if you are a middle schooler taking your first music class with an instrument I want to help. I have helped many of my friends as well as lower classmen and I am also in different music classes and out-of-school music for instance the Cleveland youth symphony and chamber orchestra. I have struggles and went through a hard patch I wanted to give up and my body felt awful. There was a point in time where I couldn't get out of bed to do something I loved. I fought I did not give up and I kept going and I am so happy I did. I have tips for getting through band practice and how to sight-read music and how to make it through the marching band. I believe that adults are good at music and have a lot to teach us but I have always been connected to fellow students who are around my grade and are still in high school or middle school.

I want each person to feel confident and comfortable. I want to know what they want to learn and at their own pace. I would most likely start with middle school and below and I would start with the basics. I want to make those who have mental health and medical illnesses believe they can do something. I suffer from mental illnesses and chronic illnesses and music is something that I am grateful for. I have helped with my music program at school, I have an independent study with my high school teacher as well as an elementary aid at the middle school helping my music teacher. I have also done basic music theory and have been playing the clarinet for 6 years and the oboe for 3.

Details
Your first lesson is free I believe everyone should have a chance to at least try something. Not a big commitment either and a good way to start off small. I do not charge bad altho I am still in high school. I know some teachers are even more expensive and if you do not know what you want or if you just want something fun to learn or try or are preparing for middle school please give me a chance.
