Guitar/Music Tutoring from an experienced working musician with BA (Hons) in Music - all levels, all ages!

We were looking for a guitar teacher for our daughter (11) who could help her develop her playing skills as well as learn how to play some of her favourite songs and discover some new ones too. Louis has been excellent. Our daughter has learnt some really tricky pieces and often heads off unprompted to practise between her lessons so is clearly inspired by the lessons and Louis' obvious love of playing guitar. We 100% recommend Louis as a guitar teacher.

Every class I have with Louis is different. He has taken the time to get to know me, what I want and my learning style and he tailors every class to interest me. I have learned so much from him already. My favourite thing about him is that he won't tell me what to do, but rather encourages me to discover my own personal way of doing things. I highly recommend Louis as a guitar teacher.

I've been taking lessons with Louis for about 6 months now, and I've no intention of stopping anytime soon!
I can't believe how far I've come in 6 months and I have Louis to thank for that.
He really is such an excellent teacher, every week he just knows what's the next thing that i need to help me on the journey.

Louis is an awesome guitar teacher! I was self taught for about 6 months until I hit a bit of a wall. He's helped me move beyond the basics, and tailors all the lessons to my music taste and learning style, incorporating a bit of music theory too. He's also just a really nice guy - very warm and patient - and very flexible with changing lessons when I need to.

I had never played a guitar before. Didn't have any idea of how to start. Started my lessons with Louis. He is very patient, understanding. On our first class he asked me what my targets were and what kind of music I would like to play. Since then, we have been playing several songs. And whenever I have doubts, he stops and explains again and makes me try so many times till I can do finally do it by myself.
I would really recommend him to any new beginner like me.

Louis' knowledge and versatility as a guitarist is next to no one else I have met but when you sit in with him for a lesson it is all about you. On his lessons, Louis let me take the lead and decide where I wanted to go and what I wanted to learn. A very accommodating and warm teacher, I could not recommend him enough.
