I grew up in Hicks Bay diversed in Māori culture and language. I attended Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Kawakawa Mai Tawhiti (full te reo Māori immersion school) and then I attended St Joseph's Māori Girls' College and then headed down to the South Island to study Māori and Law at The University of Otago. Whilst I was down in Dunedin, I was a tutor for a couple of the Māori papers at the university. I am passionate about teaching the language and culture of our ancestors. No matter what reo level or where you are in your reo journey, i am here as a friend for you to practice on :)
