As a Composer, Guitarist, Arranger, Orchestrator, and Producer, I've navigated the intricate worlds of music theory, composition, production, and performance with finesse. My work has graced prestigious stages like Berklee College of Music’s Guitar Rock Night and Guitar Metal Night, showcasing my prowess as both a guitarist and a composer. I've lent my talents to a diverse array of projects, from composing for TV/Film to producing emerging artists under the artist name, Young Lyon.
With a bachelor's degree from Berklee College of Music and many years of studying and teaching music theory on the Guitar, I've got the academic pedigree to back up my real-world experience. From arranging music for acclaimed artists like Allen Stone to guitar performances at renowned venues, I'm here to share my wealth of knowledge and passion for the guitar with aspiring guitarists like you. Each lesson is tailored to each specific student and their goals. I incorporate music reading, music theory, technique, and different musical styles into learning songs you know and love. Most guitar instructors start with dull rudimentary exercises that are hardly musical or fun to practice. As a teacher, I like to begin my lessons by learning songs that intrinsically motivate the student to want to learn while incorporating the music theory used in that song as a lesson in itself.
