I approach each topic by teaching the first principles because I believe you need a firm understanding of the basics before you can develop. I target each aspect of language individually and methodically: listening, speaking, writing and reading. A typical lesson might include some grammar rules or reading some French out loud.
I am a humanities student majoring in law and French. I went on a two-month exchange to France in high school which really developed my oral and auditory language skills. I have DELF B2 certification, which is an internationally-recognised certification higher than secondary school level. My matric results were in the top 1% for French of students in the country. I have tutored more than 100 hours in the last six months alone.
