About Hazel
I completed a Bachelor's Degree in French Linguistics and International Culture after developing a strong interest in language education, communication, and cultural exchange during my academic studies. During the past 10 years, I have worked with learners from different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve their French through practical guidance and supportive teaching methods. Teaching French allows me to combine creativity, mentorship, and cultural connection in a deeply rewarding way. I enjoy helping students express themselves more confidently in another language.
My teaching style focuses on communication, patience, and adaptability. Some learners improve best through structured grammar exercises and repetition, while others learn more effectively through conversations and interactive activities. I carefully adapt lessons according to each student's learning style, confidence level, and communication goals. Along with technical language development, I help students strengthen pronunciation, listening ability, vocabulary retention, and conversational fluency. Creating a welcoming and supportive learning environment remains one of my highest priorities.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring French literature, studying world cultures, and continuing language research through films, travel, and international media. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas and relatable examples into lessons regularly. I believe language learning creates opportunities for confidence, personal growth, and global understanding. One of the most fulfilling parts of teaching is seeing students communicate naturally in situations that once felt challenging or unfamiliar.
