About Urisha

I am currently an English ( ESL ) teacher and I teach English as a foreign language. My classes consist of adult and junior students. Lesson times are 45 minute classes as well as 25 minute classes whereby I focus on points such as English Grammar, reading skills, communication skills, pronunciation, spelling and sentence construction. I have a Bachelor of Social Science degree in English and Criminology from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. I like to make my lessons exciting and enjoyable for the students therefore aiding them in becoming better using the English language.

About the lesson

My teaching method consists of content-focused and interactive teaching. I currently teach adults, who possess all different kinds of occupations such as doctors, accountants, scientists etc. and juniors, ranging from ages 4 – 17 years old therefore I am able to distinguish between different levels of understanding and adapt myself to tutor any individual. I like to have a structure set out for the lesson material whereby the student can be flexible and also follow a content –based lesson.
