About Gabby

Hi! I’m a current collegiate volleyball player with years of competitive experience as both a Defensive Specialist (DS) and an Outside Hitter (OH). I’ve trained and competed at a high level, and now I’m passionate about helping younger players grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game. I specialize in individual training sessions focused on fundamentals, game IQ, and position-specific development. Whether you’re working on your passing form, building power in your swing, or just trying to improve your overall game, I create personalized sessions to help you reach your goals. As someone who knows firsthand what it takes to balance athletics and academics, I also offer guidance on mindset, leadership, and preparation for playing at the next level. Defensive Specialist (DS) Training
• Serve Receive: Footwork, platform angles, reading float vs. spin serves
• Defense: Reaction drills, reading hitters, emergency moves (pancakes, rolls, sprawls)
• Coverage & Communication: Seam awareness, priority calling, libero coordination
• Quickness & Agility: Lateral movement, court coverage, explosive first step
• Mental Toughness: Staying composed under pressure, resetting after mistakes

Outside Hitter (OH) Training
• Approach Mechanics: Footwork patterns (3-step, 4-step), timing, rhythm drills
• Arm Swing: Generating power, contact point control, shoulder-safe technique
• Shot Selection: Cross, line, roll, tip, wipe — attacking with IQ and variety
• Blocking: Footwork, reading setters, press timing, hand positioning
• Back Row Skills: Transitioning to defense, pipe attacks, passing from zone 6
• Serve Receive: Dual-role responsibilities and mental focus as a 6-rotation OH
