I first met Austin at the Virginia Governors Spanish academy when I barely knew any piano and it was a very small part of my life. During the 3 weeks at the academy, Austin exponentially improved my knowledge of music theory and first introduced piano technique to me. Not having a piano teacher upon returning home, I continued to consult Austin when I was unsure and he was able to effectively convey technical piano concepts over instant message. Thanks to Austin I have progressed to the level of performing songs like Nocturne in F minor Op. 55 No. 1 and Liebestraum No. 3. He is a great piano teacher and an even kinder person. Highly recommended!
