About May
May Ho is a client success, sustainability, and management expert and coach. She has 14+ years of management and leadership experience in customer success, corporate responsibility, diversity and inclusion, and learning across the management consulting, information services, technology advisory, arts and heritage, and non-profit sectors in London, UK, and Hong Kong SAR, China. She led sustainability projects across industries, including financial, professional services, design, manufacturing, and consulting. May also has over 8 years of experience mentoring/coaching in corporate, scale-up, further, and higher education, as well as non-profits, including the CMI Women Leadership programmes at SERC.
May’s research interests are engagement, sustainability, and landscape management. May has contributed to academic research, e.g., the QAA-funded Assessment Literacy project. She is a Co-Editor of “Sustainable Development and Business Transformation” (Springer Nature), a Peer Reviewer for “Technological Sustainability Journal” (Emerald), “Social Responsibility Journal” (Emerald), “Green Metrics in Higher Education” (Springer Nature), and an Editorial Assistant for “International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management” (Emerald). May wrote articles exploring tech-driven strategies for digital newspapers and magazines. Her sustainability leadership capacities and mindfulness research will be published in the SRRNet conference book (2026).
May was part of the review committee for the University of Doha for Science and Technology 2025 International Conference. She served as Session Chair and Academic Presenter, presenting her research on sustainability and education at the SRRNet International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility in Cairo and the AMPS Conference—New Schools of Thought, Part of the Focus on Pedagogy Series in Los Angeles. May also presented at the Advance HE Teaching and Learning Conference 2025 [(concealed information)
May is an MSc in Applied Landscape Archaeology Candidate (with Distinction) at the University of Oxford (Harris Manchester). She holds an MSt in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge (Fitzwilliam), an MA in Managing Archaeological Sites (with Distinction) from UCL, and a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Central Saint Martins, UAL.

May is an Advance HE Fellow (PGCert in Academic Practice in Higher Education with Distinction). She was an Undergraduate Deputy Course Director (Year 2 Lead), Module Leader, and Lecturer in Business and Management at Coventry University London (Between 2023 Jan and 2025 Dec), an External Examiner in Business and Management at the University of Suffolk and University of Gloucestershire (From 2023 Sep to 2025 Sep), and an External Panel Member for revalidating Business and Accountancy Undergraduate Programmes at Oxford Brookes University (2025). May supervised 200+ GCSE/A-level students to enhance their first research ideas, helping with research planning, and offering advice and guidance to help students progress. She provided tailored knowledge-building sessions in business and management, sustainability, archaeological sites/heritage management, and museum education. She also motivated 700+ change agents to improve written assignment quality by 80% through constructive written feedback. May also increase the employability of student mentees by 50% by empowering them to conduct SWOT, PESTLE, and soft or hard skills analyses to formulate career action plans and SMART goals, review CVs/cover letters, and provide constructive feedback.
