Learning a foreign language is never an easy task, especially when the alphabet is different.
When you start learning Japanese, you will tell yourself it would be easier to learn Italian or Spanish!
But, if you’ve ever dreamed of living in Japan, taking a language course in Kyoto or spending you holidays in Tokyo, you will need Japanese language lessons to, at least, learn the polite phrases important in Japanese culture.
On the Superprof platform, your private teacher will start by teaching you the Japanese alphabet, the fundamental basis for speaking Japanese and mastering Japanese writing (i.e., kanji, hiragana and hiragana katakana).
The Japanese culture is so rich that a year of private Japanese lessons will not even be enough to learn everything about the land of the rising sun and its language.
Language learning requires an effective method and adequate teaching materials.
For example, the Minna no Nihongo and the Assimil method are two excellent tools that have been proven to be effective.

Grammar, vocabulary, conversation, pronunciation, writing and reading are taught face-to-face, at the home or by webcam with a Japanese tutor or a graduate of Japanese didactics and languages.
In addition to the satisfaction of Japanese oral comprehension as a second language, you will have something great to add to your curriculum vitae: being a Japanese speaker will allow you to try expatriation with a work-holiday program or allow you to be sponsored by a company to work in Japan.
Although the cost of living on the Japanese archipelago is high, the third largest economy in the world will offer you better salaries as a result.
In addition, you will learn more about life in Japan and its history.
One final note, the Japanese language has only five vowels (A, I, U, E, O) and the sounds are found in English. The grammatical system of Japanese should, therefore, pose fewer problems than Korean or Mandarin Chinese classes!
