About Lily

I am a Singing tutor with 4 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I have successfully taught over 250 students, helping them develop strong vocal techniques and confidence in performance. My teaching philosophy is based on personalised guidance, encouragement, and passion for music, ensuring every student can grow at their own pace while enjoying the learning process.

I focus on breath control, pitch accuracy, tone quality, rhythm, and expressive performance. I also help students prepare for recitals, competitions, and college auditions, giving them the tools to perform confidently. Many of my students have achieved awards and recognition for their progress and dedication.

Along with singing, I include music theory, ear training, and sight-reading to provide a complete musical foundation. I strive to create a supportive and motivating environment, where students feel confident exploring their voice and expressing themselves freely.

My goal is to help students discover their unique voice, enjoy performing, and cultivate a lifelong love for music, making every lesson inspiring, fun, and rewarding.

About the lesson

Creativity is at the heart of my lessons—I encourage students to explore various genres, experiment with phrasing, and express themselves freely through their voice. I use diplomacy when providing feedback, offering guidance in a positive and motivating manner that encourages growth.

Along with singing, I teach complementary subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm, and vocal technique. Performance skills, including stage presence, emotional expression, and lyrical interpretation, are also an integral part of my teaching. My goal is to blend technical mastery with artistic expression, helping students develop both skill and confidence.
