About Selma
I started learning piano at the age of 6 and I am currently a Year 11 student. I completed ABRSM Grade 7 at the age of 11, and later received an A+ in the AMEB Certificate of Performance exam. I was also invited to participate in the Melbourne Young Chamber Academy at the University of Melbourne.
I have performed at places including Melbourne Recital Centre, Hamer Hall, Government House, and Hansen Dyer Hall. I am part of my school’s Enhanced and Differentiated Gifted Education program, and I currently study under Professor Igor Machlak from the University of Melbourne

I offer bilingual piano teaching in both English and Chinese. And practice sessions to make sure students make the most out of their practice by correcting them and making a plan for each practice session if they already have a teacher. For each lesson, I carefully design a structured plan to ensure every minute is used effectively, helping students build strong technique, musical understanding, and efficient practice habits.
