About Paul
I have a doctoral degree in music from Juilliard and have a passion and love for music. For me, music is sacred and has the ability to cross cultures, languages, and time. It is the way to communicate and encapsulate the emotions of the soul when mere words fail.
I try my best to impart the love of music and the desire to keep learning to my students, so that if they so choose, music will be something that sticks with (and positively impacts) them for life.

My approach to the lessons are individually crafted the student. I will make sure the rigor (difficulty) and goals/outcomes are in alignment with the vision, goals, and outcomes that the student wants to achieve.
This approach to music theory, composition and writing is intended for those students who already have a background and understanding of music and can read music.
