I am a professional accountant, entrepreneur and Honors graduate with a vast background in accounting, consulting and finance. As the Senior Development Manager, I was tasked with developing the accounting department within the firm through establishing quality standards on our engagements according to isqc1, creating standardized working papers to ensure the quality of work across all departments and to ensure that the deadlines and work planning across the departments run harmoniously.

Calculation and submission of tax returns for individuals, trusts, close corporations and companies.
Calculation of CGT on disposals. VAT submissions and calculations as well as VAT registration.
Client representation and communication of tax matters and disputes on behalf of our clients.
Drafting of legal documentation for SARS disputes and objections.

The company required urgent assistance as their accounting records had fallen behind severely when the Financial Manager vacated their position with no notice. My position was for the interim period before the full-time commencement of my Honors degree in January 2018 at NWU Puk.
As the assistant financial manager, I reported directly to the CFO as well as the CEO. I was tasked with getting all the financial records up to date. As the company was involved in construction and rentals I was given additional responsibility to oversee rental income and to account for building and construction expenses for new projects.
My duties included:

Calculation and recording of the income taxes for the year.
• Accounting:
Completion of monthly payroll,

Debtors and Creditors function,
Drafting of Management Accounts (Monthly Management Statements).
Preparation of the audit documentation for the auditors.
